Nick Gullo was born in New Orleans and raised in Las Vegas. Contrary to popular opinion, and as absurd as it sounds, Tulane University actually handed him both an MBA and a law degree. Here, just get the hell out! No, please, I like it here... I mean love - OUT!
Since then his photos and ramblings have graced Vice, Maxim, Details and numerous other outlets. Un-contrary to popular opinion, he's a geek - primarily for graphic novels [e.g. Blackhole & Patience], and fiction. Top of his list are Thom Jones' short story collection The Pugilist At Rest, Denis Johnson's Jesus' Son, and Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake.
Nick lives in Newport Beach with his very patient wife (1st grade teacher and artist), and their snarky daughter (loves gummy worms).
Both his podcast and writing reflect the zen maxim: 'Be good to all and the rest will figure itself out.'
He is an avid surfer and takes regular (very public hahaha) beatings on the jiu jitsu mats.
